A lot of women, particularly those who haven't been through hardship yet, can't take criticism or any form of pain well. It's just something that they can't do, simply because they haven't had to do it yet. It's not their fault.
Women who go through pain become stronger as a result. When they become stronger, they also become more aware about how the world works and that makes them more attractive. They also can take the truth, making men more likely to feel close to them, since they can be open with them without being scared of backlash.
